Finally, the first Gore-Tex jacket I write about. Gore-Tex is awesome. In heaven, all snowboard jackets are made of Gore-Tex. Gore Tex is the most waterproof/breathable material on the planet and people other than hippies want it. That’s where Volcom comes in, the Volcom Climate Jacket has all the tech with rad styling.
Volcom has a new, exclusive Gore-Tex fabric called T.D.S. (thermal defense system). The Climate jacket is the first women’s piece in the Volcom 2010 collection to recieve this technology. Some people say that all-over prints are dead, but no one does “timeless” like Volcom so respect this all-over print that seems to mimic a spiral-graph Volcom Stone.
Ultimately, you want this jacket for the tech. Gore-tex T.D.S. with Recco avalanche recovery system, RiRi Zippers, Zip Tech Pant to Jacket interface, and a built in face mask. Pair it up with the Volcom Transfer gore-Tex Pant in Orange Pop.
