Sanuk Buys My Love
A few weeks ago, I questioned the coolness of the Sanuk Tube Flop. I got a lot of mixed reviews on said coolness. Angry Snowboarder thought they were about “as cool as a case of herpes”, while David put together some ideas for a full accessory line of mix-and-match socks for the flop. Zoe kinda liked them and so did some of my other lady friends.
But none of that really matters, because the best part of my Tube-Flop critique was receiving a care package from Bron at Sanuk with my favorite Sanuk products that are undeniably cool.
Sanuk Laurel Sidewalk Surfer - These texturized slip-ons make me feel like I’m wearing a toned-down, classy mexican poncho on my feet. They look great with denim or shorts and all my friends are envious of them.
Sanuk Yoga Mat Sandal – This is the sandal that made me fall in love with Sanuk. If you haven’t had a pair of Yoga Mats, get some. They won’t help you with your downward dog, but these sandals are so comfortable they send me into a sort of meditated bliss. Just try some on and you’ll understand.
Sanuk Mandi Chill Sidewalk Surfer – Like a cross between slippers and a plaid side-walk surfer, the Mandi Chill feels like you’re wearing sweatpants, but looks like you’re wearing your friday night jeans. Recently, I took these camping and they are now my favorite camping shoes – lightweight, warm, easy off/on when cruising in/out of the tent, and easier on the environment than stomping around in boots.
