Rome Blue Snowboard 2010

Rome Blue Snowboard 2010

This board takes me back to my days of riding steep trees, dry powder and less-than-good parks at Big Sky, Montana.  The Rome Blue was the perfect snowboard for dodging pre-season rocks of death and carried me on through a winter of hard riding, trying to keep up with the boys.

The Blue is Rome’s high-end, high-performance, freeride dominant snowboard.  Don’t get me wrong, you can still take the Blue into the park, but it is not going to be the most forgiving board to learn how to butter on.  Instead, it is chock full of lightweight technology, designed to be super fast, super responsive, and super awesome.

Rome likes to play up their party side in their marketing campaigns, but forgets to promote how advanced they are with their board construction.  Let the Rome Blue show you that this company is just as cool on the mountain as they are at a PBR kegger.

Tech Features:

  • Superpop Core Matrix with Impact Plates
  • StraightTriax 30 Carbon Laminate with Carbon Centerline Stringers
  • SinterSpeed Base

  1. How come that graphic makes me think of this seasons Duchess?

It totally does! But probably because my scan wasn’t that great and so it looks kinda grainy like the Duchess’ textile topsheet. Just wait til you see the Rome Jett… total Feelgood graphic rip off.

  3. Oh I’ve seen the Jett, have you seen the Unity Rocker? Looks exactly like the the first or second Capita Black Snowboard of Death, right down to the skull placement.

I’m so glad I own the previous year’s model, the graphics are so much better, but I’d ride it anyway since it’s absolutely amazing.
