Ride Compact Snowboard 2010
The Ride Compact is a new addition to the women’s Ride snowboard family and I couldn’t be more stoked. This board features Ride’s cutting edge, freestyle technology to make it the perfect park riding machine.
The Compact utilizes Ride’s signature urethane Slimewalls that functions as a shock absorber and gives a more forgiving interaction with rails. Combined with Ride’s Cleav Edge, a beefed up version of your metal edges, the Compact is going to be one of the best snowboards for jibbing - a smoother, catch-free ride with more durable materials.
The Membrain top sheet makes this snowboard super light because it uses fabric and urethane in place of traditional top sheet materials. The Ride Compact has an especially attractive lurex fabric that gives off just the right amount of shine in the light (you’ll have to visit your local shop to see this glitter in action).
With Ride’s new LowRize Rocker and LowRize Sidecut, the Compact has hook-free control and a super smooth feel without sacrificing any of the pop. If you are looking for a soft, easy to ride, park stick, with super stylie graphics, pick up the Ride Compact Snowboard.
