If you don’t want to spend Valentine’s Day lounging in pajamas, eating nothing but chocolate and watching Hugh Grant movies, head on over to Mt. Hood Meadows to take part in some speed dating. Nothing says romance like an awkward lift ride with a stranger, followed by a steep off ramp that should disclaim “stomp pad required”. But hey, you never know. Mr. Right just might be waiting in the singles line at the Blue Chair.

I love my mom and my mom LOVES Oprah. Which is why I now have a monthly subscription to O magazine. For the most part, reading up on what’s hip in the lives of 35-55 year old women is a guilty pleasure of mine. But this month I was in for a real treat.

To be honest, I started researching this post extremely skeptical of Roxy’s new Athletix line. The Athletix line is built for the Roxy girl who needs more technical apparel for yoga, training, running, etc. Thinking that this was just going to be a new way to market their pink hoodies, I was surprised to learn about the qualified technical designers creating the line and the athletic inspired functionality of the pieces.
