Ride Shakedown 2010 – Summit at Snoqualmie
Posted in Blog, Events on March 8th, 2010 by courtney – Be the first to comment
This weekend the Ride Shakedown makes its debut in the States. Summit at Snoqualmie will be hosting this spectator-friendly contest designed to showcase some of the best riders with a big-air comp and rail jam. With pro and am level competitions, the Ride Shakedown brings some of the best talent together in a setting that allows fans to be up close to the action. If you are in the Northwest, grab some discounted resort tickets at Snocon, Evo, or US Outdoor and head up to Summit at Snoqualmie for a couple days of shredding and competition (oh – and some awesome after parties).
Year One – Lady In Shred – Thank-you!
Posted in Blog, Events on March 7th, 2010 by courtney – Be the first to comment
March marks the one year anniversary of Lady In Shred. Don’t worry, I’ll be celebrating later this month in Sun Valley with some of my favorite gals, furry boots, and Bogner one-pieces. What started out as a way for me to practice my copywriting and web skills has turned into one of my favorite connections to the snowboard industry.
I’d like to say thanks to my ex-co-workers (Spencer and Brad) who were the only ones reading this blog at the beginning. Being a skier and a skateboarder, I’m sure they were always riveted by my content. I’d also like to show appreciation to my fellow bloggers, the random people who are out there doing the same thing as me and putting it in their own words. Thanks to Angry Snowboarder, Shayboarder, and the rest of my Bro Down blog roll for all the referrals. Big ups to all my lady friends who serve as my inspiration and always give great ideas for posts and keep snowboarding fun. But most importantly… thanks to all my readers! Year One for Lady In Shred could never have been successful without you guys!
I want to keep making this as enjoyable for you as it is for me. What do you guys want to see for the next year from Lady In Shred?
