Snowboarder Magazine’s Ms. Superpark® 6 presented by Gatorade Comes to a Close
San Clemente, CA (April 6, 2010) –SNOWBOARDER Magazine’s Ms. Superpark® 6 presented by Gatorade came to a close last Friday after four long days on the hill at Snow Summit in Big Bear, California. With less than perfect weather conditions throughout the week these women were unstoppable on the custom-made terrain park crafted by Snow Summit’s own park staff. Snow Summit has long been recognized for its progressive park features and the crew left little to be desired with two pristine hips, a channel gap, a step down jump, quarterpipe, wall ride and a downrail where a family ski zone once stood.
This weekend the Ride Shakedown makes its debut in the States. Summit at Snoqualmie will be hosting this spectator-friendly contest designed to showcase some of the best riders with a big-air comp and rail jam. With pro and am level competitions, the Ride Shakedown brings some of the best talent together in a setting that allows fans to be up close to the action. March marks the one year anniversary of Lady In Shred. Don’t worry, I’ll be celebrating later this month in Sun Valley with some of my favorite gals, furry boots, and Bogner one-pieces. What started out as a way for me to practice my copywriting and web skills has turned into one of my favorite connections to the snowboard industry.
